Scare on the Square

On Friday night, we headed to downtown McKinney for the annual Scare on the Square. Though we didn't wait in the ridiculously long lines for a piece of candy or two, we did have some fun meeting firemen & seeing their firetrucks up close (what is it with boys and firetrucks?), running into friends from church and hanging out with our newest bestie, Cohen and his mommy & daddy.

This year was a little different than last year, though we did still spend the evening pushing one child around in the stroller while chasing the other one through the streets of the square.* We also tried to get a good family picture, however, we were unsuccessful. But since I'm all about keeping it real here, I'll show it to you anyway....

If that doesn't scream Christmas card, then I don't know what does.

*Carter asked me the next day if we were going to the square again. When I told him we weren't, he then asked if we could go to the circle or triangle instead. Love that kid.
