The kids and I went to the Grand Opening of the new Toys R Us/Babies R Us in Allen this weekend. (I think I may break the bank living this close to such a mecca, but that's a whole other story). Anyway, we're browsing through the store, and Carter sees his two heros in slipper form: Elmo and "Monstir Cookies". He couldn't decide which he liked better, so we had to put them both on. It was simply too cute to not document, so mommy took a picture (just another example of why I keep the digital camera in my purse at all times).
We left the store with the Cookie Monster slippers, but don't tell Carter because Santa will be bringing them for Christmas.
Oh and we ate lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings with NaNa and JaJa a few hours later, and when I took out my camera to show them the pictures of the Sesame Street dilema, Carter just HAD to take a picture of mom and dad. So here ya go... from the perspective of a toddler:

So, how cool was the new store? I heard on the radio that it was opening and was very excited. However, we were out of town this weekend, so I still haven't been. It is on my "to do" list and I don't even need anything from there. :)
He looks like a natural-born photographer!
