I used to hate text messaging. Seriously. When people would attempt to communicate with me via text, I would usually call them back or ignore them. But when I realized it wasn't going to stop, I gave in to the peer pressure and started texting. Then, apparently I needed a MySpace to communicate with my friends. It was addicting at first and lots of fun to show off pictures of my family and life events. Then the newness wore off, and it was something else to simply keep up with. And most recently, I've been pulled into the wonderful world of Facebook. The excitement of that has lasted for about 2 weeks, and now that I have found all my friends from high school and college that I haven't heard from in a while, the excitement is beginning to fade.
So now it seems that I must add a blog to my repertoire. I'm not sure what I will write about, how often I will do it, or even if anyone will read it. But alas, I am here, and I will try. And if I'm being honest with myself, I must admit: there is a certain bit of excitement accompanying my new foray into the blogging world. I'm not promising Pulitzer Prize winning blogs, nor am I promising any amount of blog regularity. But I do promise to throw a picture of my kids up every now and again and perhaps a funny story or lighthearded account of events in my life for all those interested, or (as Melissa would call them) the "blog-stalkers". Enjoy!

Yeah, Lori! I love when another friend gives into peer pressure and joins the blogging world. Now I can keep up with you and your precious kids. :)
These people and their peer pressure!! I resisted myspace and facebook, but I became weak with pregnancy and caved to the bloggers. So... welcome! Its kind of stepford sometimes in the the blogging world... so visit mine for a little freak show every now and then. :) And whatever you do... don't throw up ANY pictures! GROSS!
